Hushglass protects a window you choose from screen capture on Windows. The window stays open, visible and fully usable on your own screen, while anyone watching a screen share or a recording sees an opaque privacy screen reading "Private content protected" where it was. Protection has been tested from the viewer's side against Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams desktop, OBS Display Capture, ShareX, Clipchamp and the Windows Snipping Tool. Hushglass hides its own window as well, so viewers never see the control panel or the list of protected windows. Two limits are worth knowing before installing. Protection applies when you share your entire screen; sharing the protected window itself as a single window is not supported. And hardware capture, such as pointing a phone camera at the monitor, can still see the screen. Free protects one window. Pro adds unlimited windows and automatic protection for pop-up windows opened by an app that is already protected. One licence covers two computers. Requires Windows 10 version 2004 or later. Installs for the current user only and raises no administrator prompt.
